Learning Support
In my role as Behaviour Support Learning Mentor, I am in school to support children to engage in our learning environment and provide outdoor learning as well.
Today we made biodegradable bird feeders. It was a very mucky job but I had help from our lovely Year 6 Mentor - Seth.
We mixed bird seed with lard (yuck!) and squashed it around a cardboard roll and filled pine cones. We then searched for safe places to leave them so that the birds could eat them in the cold weather.
We found high, safe places in the branches around the CPS pond.

Lovely wintery walk around school this morning to write a list of jobs and make a seesaw out of branches!

Wonderful busy gardening week! With lots of help from Zach and Riley we now have a little greenhouse and some seeds have now been potted - finger's crossed for success!
