Hello Maple class,
I hope that you are all well and looking forward to some exciting new ways to learn while you are at home. On this page you will find the weekly timetable with activities for you to have a go at from all of the different subjects that we usually do. You will also find links to lots of different websites with fun activities that you might want to try as well. As mentioned in the letter sent home this week I will be available through email during normal school hours, to answer any questions you have about learning at home. I am sure you will all come up with some wonderfully creative ideas and I hope we can all see each other again soon.
A message from Mrs Claridge
I am immensely proud of how the children who have needed to attend school have been working hard. I am sure there has also been lots of fabulous learning going on at home. So, we thought it would be wonderful to share what we have been doing and celebrate the children's achievements!
We are going to have a dedicated web page and post photos on our twitter page (more details to follow). All we are asking for are photos sent to class teachers of the children at work or the work they have produced. When sending photos please do state if you DO NOT want it published online and the teachers will just celebrate it with you.
We have had some questions about checking in for safeguarding reasons. Other than the children in school and some families we may contact directly there is no current guidelines about contact between school and home. What we would like you to do is to email the teacher at least once a week to let them know you are safe and well... and of course to share what you have been doing.

Spring Chicken Challenge
Normally at this time of year we sing a fantastic song in school all about a Spring Chicken and her eggs hatching. You can watch the song and sing along here:
This Easter time we challenge you to film yourselves singing a chorus of the song or dancing along to it at home. Costumes, props, actions, groovy moves and other family members can all be included as you wish! Send your videos to Mrs Pugh at email@example.com
Certificates and prizes up for grabs!
Follow this link to our school webpage where you can watch a video of Mrs Pugh doing the actions to remind you.
Happy Easter 😊
