At CPS we value the importance of a progressive and skills based approach to teaching computing.
Predominantly, we follow the National Centre for Computing Education units of work as they provide access to all aspects of the computing curriculum as outlined in the National Curriculum.
In addition to the 'scheduled' blocks of work we also incorporate the use of Google Education Suite into other areas of the curriculum. Using Google Docs and Slides, children are able to present work in a range of ways.
We also use Google Classroom to share work set as 'Home Learning Tasks' as well as in the event of Lockdown situations.
